Each New Day is A New Opportunity to Reinvent Yourself

I’ve always loved the idea that each new day is an opportunity to reinvent ourselves, or even better lean closer to our most authentic selves. While this isn’t an overnight accomplishment, there are things you can do to lean in closer.

Think about things you’ve done that help you feel relaxed and fulfilled.

Writing and photography have helped me cultivate a stronger relationship with myself. They both put me in a meditative state, learning more about my needs and most especially pain points I didn’t realize I had.

Think about a moment you were doing something and it put you “in the zone.” Now think about the time you first started and how bad you were at it. But you kept going right?

Show Up For Yourself Every Day

If we want to grow, we have to show up every day. We need to show up even if it’s hard, even if we don’t feel like it. But the secret is that you don’t have to be perfect every time, you just have to show up and keep going.

Ask yourself this today: How can I access my thoughts in a way that allows my true authentic self to speak?

What feelings come up when you take a moment of stillness? Take a moment to pay attention to your breathing and scan through your body. Think of what your authentic self is saying and use that as your drive to keep going. Take a moment to reflect and dive into your thoughts.

Remember to take moments throughout your day to pause and reflect on the moments that added joy to your life. Pay attention to that feeling and allow yourself to follow it.
